At the same time, our own eG Enterprise performance monitoring solution was alerting about slowness with Microsoft SharePoint Online. As you can see from the figure below, eG Enterprise had detected that many file operations on SharePoint Online were slow or not working. File deletion was several folds slower than normal and file checkout was not even successful.
New business models are emerging that offer subscription services to work in cafes, hotels, private offices, and various residential environments. In each of these places, employees work on different laptops, mobile phones, and desktops. As a result, the Internet experience to collaborate and remain productive on these devices will be different. Thus, network admins and operators must be more than willing to incorporate these new circumstances into their SaaS monitoring strategy and adjust to this further employee experience decentralization.
Remember that the technology team will need to support various work models that employees desire whether from the home, office or road. This flexibility will come with challenges to resolve network issues or outages as employees relocate from one place to the other. Therefore, delivering seamless network connectivity and providing a superior digital experience becomes a priority for the entire organization. End-user experience monitoring tools leverage employee experience insights to optimize service delivery.
We don't have a subscription to Prisma Access' Autonomous Digital Experience Management features, but we have done some testing of it. It's pretty good because it can help ease the work of an office helpdesk person who constantly gets tickets but has no visibility for monitoring things. With everybody conducting their work from home, it gets very difficult to know the setup of the internal environment and how people are accessing things and where the bottlenecks are. The ADEM tools are going to help immensely in that regard, because without having knowledge of the underlying infrastructure at every individual's home location, you can still identify whether a problem is specific to their home office or to the application the user is accessing or to the network that is causing the problem. That information is absolutely at your fingertips. Analyzing those types of things becomes really easy. 2b1af7f3a8
